Analog Photography Berlin offers Workshops, courses, information and community centered around the art of black and white analog film photography.
We regularly offer a 2-part beginner's workshop, introducing the darkroom and the techniques of developing film yourself and enlarging from a negative. A 5-session intermediate course is offered twice annually, and workshops can be booked privately anytime. Detailed information is available here.
A workshop in pinhole photography is also offered regularly, where you learn about the camera obscura and turn a coffee can into a camera. Information on the pinhole photography workshops can be found here.
Workshops and courses are based at StattLab, a community darkroom and screen printing space in Berlin at U-Bahnhof Osloer Strasse. After taking the introductory workshops, participants are welcome to come by any Thursday evening for Printing and Beer to work independently in the darkroom. Experienced photographers and beginners alike are encouraged to join the growing StattLab community for lab access, participating exhibitions, and hanging out with a bunch of great people.
